Regional Transportation Plan (RTP)

Paving the Path Forward

At CYMPO, we’re laying the groundwork for a transportation future that honors our region’s unique rural character while preparing for tomorrow’s growth. Our Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) is more than just a roadmap  – it’s a vision for a connected and thriving community.

The Breakdown

Your Vision, Your Future

The RTP is our blueprint for the future. We’re crafting a Regional Transportation Vision that reflects how we want our roads and transit systems to evolve. With clearly defined goals and measurable objectives, we’ll be able to track our progress and make sure we’re on the right course.

Smart Investments, Lasting Impact

We know that every dollar counts. That’s why we’re conducting a thorough analysis of key corridors to determine where our transportation investments will make the biggest difference. Our focus is on maximizing benefits for residents and preserving the natural beauty of our environment.

Building Momentum Together

Transportation planning is a community effort. Through public engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders, we’re ensuring that our recommendations have broad support. This process not only secures smart investments but also positions CYMPO as a trusted resource for regional planning.

Securing the Future of Transportation

We’re committed to pursuing and retaining all transportation funding available to the region for long range planning. We also are the region’s resource for leveraging additional funds to make local projects possible. Our efforts enhance transportation choices and outcomes across all of our member jurisdictions.
