Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 69 from Cordes Junction to north of Mining Trail Road (milepost 263 to milepost 277) while pavement preservation work is underway.

The work is scheduled to occur nightly from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday, June 11, through Thursday, June 14.

  • SR 69 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction with partial closures. Flaggers will be in place directing traffic through the work zone.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, please call the ADOT Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov.
