Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane closures on north- and southbound State Route 69 Stoneridge Drive to Heather Heights (mileposts 290 and 296) while pavement preservation work is underway.

The work is scheduled to occur overnight from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8.

•  SR 69 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction with partial closures.  Flaggers will be in place directing traffic through the work zone.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
