Oversized load could cause delays; allow extra time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for delays on State Routes 69, 89 and 89A in Prescott Valley and Chino Valley from 5 to 7 a.m. Monday, June 4, and Thursday, June 7. An oversized load transporting concrete bridge girders to Nevada is scheduled to roll through the region and could impact the intersections of State Routes 69 and 89A and State Routes 89A and 89.

The transport must also negotiate the five roundabouts on State Route 89 in Chino Valley. North- and southbound drivers on SR 89 should expect three-to-five minute restrictions and watch for officers directing traffic in the area.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors. For more information, please call the ADOT Project Information Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov. For real-time highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at www.az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except when driving.
