ADOT adding feature to help pedestrians cross the roadway safely
Motorists on westbound State Route 69 in Prescott Valley should plan for a change to the right- turn signal at the Fain Road intersection beginning Sunday, Sept. 23.

The Arizona Department of Transportation is reconfiguring the signal to accommodate pedestrians crossing the highway.  This will impact the continuous green arrow for right-turns onto Fain Road.  Pedestrians will push a button to activate the turn arrow from green to yellow to red, requiring drivers to stop so pedestrians can safely cross in the crosswalk.
